Hmm well i personally enjoy sparring a lot, but even sparring can not be fun when your injured or not having a good day. Self defence is always something i enjoy when we do it and thers something about the Dan patterns that i find quite inspiring. Thers sides of training that havent been explored fully for me yet so its hard to say what i enjoy the most. But for me i guess i enjoy everything in modiration expect for sparring, morE MORE Sparring!! lol

I love all parts of Tae-Kwon-Do... Although after thinking hard about this question, i have to say, the part of Tae-Kwon-Do I enjoy most has got to be the Sparring. I love 2 sparr with every1 no matter what their age or experience! I like all the flying kicks 2 but i like sparring 2 much, i like fighting :p. Who Doesn't?

unlike u guys i dnt like sparrin dat much.. i prefer perfecting my kicks and doin pad work.. but wat i like the most are spectacular spinning and flyin kicks.. i probably will never use it in sparrin but it looks good for demos and stuff..

Never! I h8 poomsae lol. It's all about perfection nd even more perfection, i mean i can be dedicated 2 it and try hard and achieve it but i just dont enjoy it? People who like perfecting their kiks will probably like poomsae lol. VERY hard to perfect completely

although i dont like poomsae alot, i give it my best shot and practice it regardless...Just because we don't like something, doesn't mean we shouldn't have a crack at it and practice it.

Poomsae hmmmmmmmm, I like the Dan Patterns and Taegueks 4-8. But yea i agree with Hamza that its one of those things which is difficult to perfect. Seems like poomsaes a bit like marmite lol. you either like it or dont like it but never the less its an important part of Taekwondo so i try my best when doing them.

This is Shahid btw, Hows everyone doing long time no talk lol, i know im going off topic but what the hell lol. I enjoy sparring more than pattern work uhhh pattern work takes the life out of me, and i love the spinning hook kicks too. Poomsae suj is right u either love it or hate it and by god i hate it, way to hard lol. Re: What Part of Training Do You Enjoy The Most?

It is very interesting to read all of you saying how much you like sparring, this is still my least favourite part of training, I love pushing myself to the limit because it brings a sense of peace and freedom. It is the "spirit" of tae kwon do that I love. I still have a LOT to learn and perhaps in time I will be posting a comment saying that I love sparring, right now I am concerned with learning learning learing and each time I train I aim to have achieved my best on that day. I love the way that training brings spiritual freedom through focus, and stillness through extreme movement. I studied ballet for many years and this is very similar inasmuch as it is gruelling at times and requires brain body coordination which leaves no space for anything other than the moment.
